Trem King, the History

Rusty Bickford has been a musician since an early age and began his career in the music industry in 1998. Coming from a manufacturing background he was a perfect fit for a new guitar company called Tradition Guitars out of Fort Worth, Texas.

Rusty began by handling the manufacturing responsibilities for the company. Rusty finally became a partner in Tradition Guitars in 2002 and still handles those responsibilities.

It was during a trade show in 2006 that Rusty met Sheldon Lavineway, the inventor of the Trem King. Sheldon has been designing electric guitar bridges for many years and has several patent applications in the U.S.A and international patent office.

Rusty immediately saw the relevance of the product in today’s market and began negotiations with Mr. Lavineway to find a way to market the product. A partnership was formed, Trem King, LLC with Mr. Bickford and Mr. Lavineway as principal partners. Plans have been made to market the vibrato system in the US and Internationally.
