Router Bits for DIY Installation

Trem King® offers the Recommended router bits for installation of the Trem King units.  We use three different bits, depending on the job.  All Bits are carbide, 2 flute straight bits.  All Bits are made to use with a 1/4″ chuck in a plunge router.  Recommended speeds between 15,000 and 23,000 RPM.

Router Bit 45236 –  Pocket Rout.  1″ Diameter by 3/4″ Tall with a 1/4″ Shank.  Comes with six (6) 1/4″ ID x 3/8″ OD washers on the shank for use as a template guide.  Recommended for use with the Pocket Rout Template for the correct cut.  Recommended speed 15,000 RPM.

Router Bit 45491 –  Top Rout and Spring Cavity.  1/2″ Diameter by 3/4″ Tall with a 1/4″ Shank. Has top mounted bearing for template guide.  Recommended for use in cutting the start of the Top Rout and the Spring Cavity Rout.  Recommended speed 23,000 RPM.

Router Bit 45461 –  Top Rout.  1/2″ Diameter by 1-1/4″ Tall with a 1/4″ Shank. Has top mounted bearing for template guide.  Recommended for use in cutting the finish of the tele and strat Top Rout.  Recommended speed 23,000 RPM.
